Comfy 1 furniture is made of win
We decided to upgrade our living room decor from "random assorted furniture and stuff" to "things that go together". The household consists of myself, the ogre I married, and two hyper cats. Lesser furniture tends to decay in the presence of ogres. Though our cats are scratching post trained, they sometimes make mistakes or get stuck on cloth things. A Google search for some variant of durable furniture brought me to Comfy 1. The simple designs, warranty, and solid construction appealed to me immediately. The stellar customer service sealed the deal.

Shiny shiny new site
Yep. I finally got off my hiney and fully activated the CMS I installed way back when. Pardon the dust. If I try to plan the switchover, it will never get done. So...

Most of the reason for my laziness is that I haven't done much worth writing about in the context of my personal site. My Koei beat 'em up fandom is best expressed via FAQ writing and tl;dr on related message boards. Game videos get posted on YouTube.
As of late, the only personal projects that interest me take forever to get into publicly consumable form. I do have some new song lyrics and some old ones that don't make me cringe, so I would like to revive the music section at some point. I've been writing fiction. Have at a public beta of Resonance, an in-progress isolation horror tale, if you like.
There's also my LiveJournal for general assorted bullshit. Being that Nucleus has a LJ syndication plugin, that might motivate me to post more here. It's worked for some of my friends.

IRC Bible Tales Volume 1 - In the beginning...
A while back, I came across an...interesting version of Romeo and Juliet. Later on, while goofing around in IRC, I wondered why nobody had done anything similar with one of the most-read books of all time: the Bible. After all, the Reverend Brendan Powell Smith went to the effort of reenacting a bunch of the aforementioned holy book with Legos. If he could undertake such a monumental task, someone could surely translate a bit of the Bible into l33t-sp34k. And that someone turned out to be me.
